Job Summary
We are seeking an Industrial Controls Technician / Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a stable, long-standing food manufacturing organization in the Kent/Auburn, WA area. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting production equipment, working with industrial automation, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Install new equipment and support plant improvement and upgrade projects.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, prints, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot industrial automation, electrical controls, and three-phase power systems.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and support production needs as required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire, full-time.
- Location: Kent/Auburn, WA area.
- Schedule: Facility operates 24 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any shift.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, industrial controls, and facility systems.
- Support equipment installations, preventative maintenance, and reliability improvements.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation issues in a food manufacturing environment.
- Read schematics, prints, and technical documentation to complete repairs accurately.
- Mechanical Engineering Technology degree or Associate of Science degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including 240V/480V three-phase systems.
- Experience with Rockwell industrial controls.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work any shift in a 24-hour production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, pressure transducers, flow meters, PD pumps, and HVAC systems.
- RSLogix experience.
- Pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- TIG welding or sanitary welding experience.
- Prior maintenance experience in food and beverage production or another regulated manufacturing environment.
