Job Description
We are seeking a sharp, analytical, and detail-oriented Player of Operations to join a close-knit Player Operations team at a fast-growing mobile esports and gaming platform in Las Vegas. In this role, you will be on the front lines of safeguarding our ecosystem—investigating bad actors, preventing platform misuse (gameplay manipulation, sandbagging, fraudulent activity), and maintaining a fair environment for players.
salary: $23 - $25 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
- Fraud & Risk Investigation: Monitor, detect, and analyze suspicious player activity, gameplay manipulation, and abusive behavior across mobile platforms.
- Case Management: Conduct thorough investigations into escalated player accounts using internal databases, transaction histories, and ticketing platforms (Zendesk).
- AML & Compliance Oversight: Support risk mitigation processes including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Customer Support, VIP Account Managers, and Engineering to communicate fraud trends and refine prevention protocols.
- Product Engagement: Actively test and engage with our mobile gaming platform to stay ahead of exploit vectors and player-facing vulnerabilities.
